EXTENDED SCHOOLS

Through Extended Schools funding, Brownlow Integrated College provides a range of services and activities during or beyond the school day, to help meet the needs of children, their families and the wider community. These services and activities fall under the following key elements;

Cooking Class	Tired of cooking the same old thing? Sign up and learn to cook some new dishes that won’t break the bank. Three 4 week blocks, one starting in October 2009 and the other in the new year.	Tues 3.30pm – 5.30, HE2	Miss S Craig
English Class	This class is aimed at parents of international pupils who need support with their English.	Tues 5pm-7pm, Library	Mrs F Darrah

If you are interested in any of the above classes just contact the school and ask to speak the teacher responsible. Through Extended Schools funding we have also been able to maintain and develop links with our feeder primary schools through a variety of activities. 

Through these links we have offered the following: a transition programme for primary 6 and 7 pupils from the local area in music and ICT, dance and drama classes, various residentials and activity days out.
