Every pupil studies English throughout his/her five years at Brownlow Integrated College. The Curriculum comprises preparation in the three Attainment Targets for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. At Key Stage 3 pupils follow the revised curriculum and the Northern Ireland Literacy Strategy and at Key Stage 4 pupils undertake GCSE English Language. Additionally, there are two fast track classes in Year 11 who take their GCSE in a year in order to facilitate an extra GCSE, English Literature, which is undertaken parallel to this.
