The central aim of careers education in Brownlow Integrated College is to help pupils to acquire the skills, attitudes and abilities they will need to chart their path through life with confidence and to be effective in a variety of adult roles and spheres of life.

Year 10

Careers Education
1 period per week
- Careers classification
- GCSE choices/personal careers planning.
- The Changing World of Work

Key Stage 4

Careers Education
1 Period per week plus GSCE learning for Life and Work
- Post 16 Options
- Personal Career Planning

Year 12

Work Experience
- Year 12 Work experience/placement 1 week in December
- Year 12 Vocational Group every Thursday, September – June
- Individual careers guidance
- Year 12 Careers Service interviews
-  Careers Conventions – CBEP
- Careers Speakers eg: Sentinus, Crag-Rats, Aim Higher Bus, Young Enterprise,
   C.I.D.O.
